Oman Itinerary - 10 days

Day 1 – Thursday: Arrive at night. Get rental car at the airport and check in to hotel. Day 2 – Friday (Muscat): Al Alam Palace Mutrah Fort Corniche Mutrah Souq Day 3 – Saturday (Muscat): Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque Royal Opera House Bait Al Zubair Museum Al Qurum Beach Day 4 – Sunday: Leave Muscat. Visit: Bimmah Sinkhole Wadi Shab Sur (on the way to Ras Al Jinz) Do the night tour for turtle watching. Stay overnight in Ras Al Jinz. Day 5 – Monday: Leave for Wahiba Sands. Visit Wadi Bin Khalid on the way. Stay the night in a desert camp. Enjoy camel ride, dune bashing, and other camp activities. Day 6 – Tuesday: Checkout and go to Nizwa. Visit: Nizwa Fort Nizwa Souq Stay overnight in Nizwa. Day 7 – Wednesday: Visit Jabreen Castle. Then head to Jebel Shams. Stay the night in Jebel Shams. Day 8 – Thursday: Enjoy sunrise and do the Balcony Walk. After checkout, visit: Al Hamra Misfat Al Abriyeen Stay overnight at either Al Hamra or Misfat. Day 9 – Friday: Go to Jebel Akhdar and stay there. Day 10 – Saturday: Leave from Jebel Akhdar after checkout and head to the airport. Return the rental car. Since the return flight is at night, you’ll have time for sightseeing or relaxation on the way.
